Stanley Robert Langford was born in 1917, (Plomesgate, Essex Q4-1917 4A:1419), son of William Henry and Rhoda Jane LANGFORD(née EDWARDS).

In the 1939 register his family were at The Common, Ixworth Thorpe, father [6-9-1876] a gardener; mother [20-6-1887] and brother Arthur Thomas [30-9-1919] a tractor driver (One closed record)
Address at probate was 1 Willow Cottage, Nobold, Shrewsbury
